Authorized collective management organizations
(to attention of persons who carry out the commercial use
of phonograms and videograms)
 Some types of use of copyright and related rights objects are permitted without the consent of copyright holders, but with payment a remuneration to them. Persons who carry out the commercial use of phonograms and videograms published with commercial purpose are obliged to pay a remuneration to the manufacturers of phonograms, videograms and performers.
Such users include cinema & concert halls, discos, dancing and concert pavilions, movie theatres, night clubs, cafes, restaurants, tele- and broadcasting organizations, etc.
The fee (royalty) rates for the use of phonograms and videograms published with commercial purpose and the order of payment were approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 18.01.2003 No. 71.
The above-mentioned remuneration is calculated independently by the users and transferred to the authorized collective management organizations.
The Department has determined the following authorized organizations:
All-Ukrainian Social Organization “All-Ukrainian Agency for Copyright and Related Rights”.
