Regional Patent Information Product of CIS Countries “CISPATENT”
 The Agreement on releasing of the joint regional patent-information CD-ROM-product – ÑISPATENT with participation of the patent offices of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) has been fulfilled since 2002. The technical executor and coordinator of the project is Rospatent, the Russian Federation’s Patent Office. Kirghiz Republic acceded to the Agreement in 2004.
CISPATENT CD-ROM comprises:

bibliographic data in language of original, Russian and English;
-
abstract in language of original, Russian and English;
-
full specification of the invention with basic and additional drawings in language of original;
-
claims in language of original.
New disc release comes out once a month. Such disc shall appear in two months after the date of official publishing of the corresponding journal issue.
Every disc is accompanied by MIMOSA application program for retrieval purposes. Every disc release comprises patents of the states participating in the project that were submitted a month before production thereof.
In 2006, the percentages in the amount of documents on the CD-ROM CISPATENT were: the Russian Federation – 60%, Ukraine – 30%, other countries – 10%. Vast majority of documents are represented on the disc in text format.
